LIVE AT THE RITZ, NYC, 15/5/81
THIS ONE WAS A SPECIAL CONCERT INDEED! P.I.L. PLAYED BEHIND A SCREEN SO THAT THE AUDIENCE COULD HEAR BUT NOT SEE THE BAND PLAY. THIS RECORDING IS NOT AN EXTRACT, BUT A WITNESS OF THE ENTIRE EVENING. NOT AT ALL A LONG CONCERT.
DEDICATED TO THAT FUCKING AUDIENCE
Sleeve says 33 ⅓ RPM, but the recording is sped up. Bad sound quality but listenable. Full colour PVC sleeve, blank labels (available in white and yellow).
Contrary to sleeve notes, the recording is an extract and does not witness the entire evening. Attempts at playing two songs from the new album "Flowers Of Romance"are made but the majority of the recording consists of band members taunting the audience and the resulting audience noise...
Front cover taken from "Public Image First Issue", picture on back cover taken from the book "Sex Pistols File" by Ray Stevenson.
