Side A: Texts adapted by Marcel Landowski, based on the speech made by John Paul II at Hiroshima on February 25th, 1981, and poems of Karol Wojtyla ( "Karol Wojytla, Poèmes", Ed. Cana-Cerf, translated by Pierre Emmanuel).
Side B: Cantata n°1 was composed in 1948 and performed for the first time the same year, Charles Bruck being the conductor. It draws its inspiration form the poems of Anna Marc (pen-name of the composer's wife).

"Chant de paix": Digital recording, world "première" recorded in Eglise Saint-Roch, Paris.
"Cantate n°1": recorded at: Eglise Saint-Bonaventure, Lyon.
