The first recording of Purgatory, who years later would become Iced Earth.

These songs were recorded live in Jon Schaffer's apartment, and the tape was privately distributed. A live version of "Burning Oasis" is sometimes erroneously believed to be from this tape. The fourth track, "Labotomy" (sic) was never recorded again, but live versions are available on Purgatory bootlegs.

"Jack" and "Jason" (later renamed "In Jason's Mind") were later rerecorded for the Psychotic Dreams demo (the same later versions were on the Horror Show demo too). The songs were also rerecorded in 2018 for the Purgatory EP, as was "Burning Oasis".

"Jack" and "Burning Oasis" are entirely different songs to the Iced Earth song.
