i recorded this album while i was working at fat sal's sandwich shop. i would work the graveyard shift-get home and work on it. i was also introduced to dave choe and his podcast dvdasa. it was the pre-recording stages of mangchi- before we went to big bear to record that album. i had finished this album before we went out there- and money mark and choe asked to hear some of the songs on this album. they liked the 4 track version of "gook boy" and mark wanted to redo it- so i held off on that song to use it for the mangchi album. this album was done on a dusty zoom 4-track and my boss sp-303 sampler- and it actually got me back into writing music. hope you enjoy it...
