We All Get Lighter is the second full-length solo album from the lead singer for platinum rockers Our Lady Peace. Raine produced the album recording in Los Angeles and Toronto over the past 18 months. Raine was joined in the studio by his wife Chantal Kreviazuk who provided piano on some of the songs while Kevin Fox (Kathleen Edwards, Celine Dion) provided cello and Karen Graves (Chantal Kreviazuk, Steve Page) played violin. We All get Lighter is an exploration and combination of spoken word, and folk music. Raine’s early influences of Leonard Cohen & Beat Poetry are clearly rooted in every track on the record, and his strong songwriting, musical and vocal abilities are highlighted beautifully from start to finish.
