The program had its inception on Sunday, October 28, 1956, under the name "Highway To Heaven." Earle E. Williams, president of Sacred Records, Inc., has emceed the program since its beginning. The program is heard every Sunday at 9:30 P.M. (P.S.T.) over KCOP (Channel 13), the highest powered independent station in the Los Angeles area.
