Written, recorded and mixed November 1985 thru November 1987 at Sonic Crayon Studios, Detroit, and The Living Room, Oak Park.
Mastered at Wakefield Mfg., Phoenix.

This album utilizes a "Tape By Mail" recording process first suggested by Fred Frith, in which master tapes utilizing a non-local guest musician are sent back and forth through the postal service and recorded on location at each guest musicians' own studio environment.
This album contains no improvisations.
