According to Mark "The Mutha" Chesley of Mutha Records, the record was being pressed at PRI Record Pressing around the time they were busted by the police for bootlegging. Everything at the plant was confiscated by the police and stored in an evidence warehouse, which included the Rattus records and jackets. 1,000 copies were pressed, but an unknown amount survived the police bust and the jackets were never recovered. When Mark consigned his record collection to an eBay dealer in mid-to-late 2011, that seller claimed only 27 copies were pressed. It is not clear if this meant that Mark was only able to salvage 27 copies total, or that he had 27 copies left in his possession at that time.
