... The last two years has been drying in my house a small collection of fish-skins. My first idea was to use them for the record 'Schijnheilige vissen', but I abandoned this idea due to the amount of records which were simply too many. Finally in september I picked up the idea to use them for 'De slaap'... The typical fish-smell has gone, as did the excretion of fish-oil, what is left is a nice supple fish-leather and a faint smell of glue." (Le Souffleur)
