Sixties album with both stereo and mono (FL-32,176) numbers printed on sleeve. It was the 8th February, 1958, and the place Murwillumbah, N.S.W., and The Reg Lindsay Show was playing to a capacity crowd.
Reg and Heather joined in a swinging duet. and the crowd loved every minute of it.
Amongst the crowd was a star struck schoolboy who had travelled 300 miles to see his idols perform that schoolboy was me and you know, even now, almost 10 years later. I'd do it again.
This is typical of the staunch fans Reg and Heather have gathered over the years with their numerous personal appearances, television shows and records - and when you listen to this album you'll understand why. They sing songs like "(I'LL LOVE YOU) FOREVER AND EVER" with a sincerity and polish equal to any of the top overseas artists.
On top of this - as anyone who has met Reg and Heather will agree - they're just darned nice folks and I'm very proud to have the privilege of writing these few words about two top country artists and firm friends.
