Excerpt from release sheet:

"Many moons ago, a young Boy set out to free himself from the confines imposed upon him by the Ordinary. Part of the scene in sleepy Gothenburg, he felt he needed a little more room to grow and set out to travel the world, on a quest where Sound was both carrier and destination. He started by going to Love Parade, then Voov, followed by a -94 Dragonfly label party after which he decided to find out where all the colors came from. That was to be a trip which brought him full circle, back to his native home California & San Francisco.

His luck seemed to know no limits and he found himself playing to crowds all over the place, in the most sublime settings. Unforgettable moments of sunrise sounds in Goa -95, dusk falling upon Burning Man in -96, and sunset at the Turkey Eclipse in 2006 and the abnormalities of vortices opening above dancfloors all gave him the peace he had lacked in the early days. A new world was dawning!

As he travelled and the years passed he began to assimilate too many experiences, some recordings needed to be made. Already initiated into the MIDI brotherhood , there was only the matter of assembling the neccessary equipment for the creative process to take place. The crates of vinyl, CD's and 150 color coded DAT tapes he had collected served as a base for the vibrational language, an emotional/spiritual hybrid carrier wave, designed to slip messages into the deepest, most dimly lit corners of the human spirit to help bring healing to them.

So it was that the Mothership Studio came to be. From this womb-like, acoustically designed environment , several projects are bearing fruit, and clients are coming to mix and master their songs there. With Neumann, Telefunken, Blue, Studer and totally custom gear, the Mothership Studio has a sound all of its' own. The vintage 60's analog circuits with tubes, transformers and germanium transistors make for a nice tight bass and lend a lovely clarity and smooth top end to the sound of a digital work flow."
