The Reverend Howard Finster is a man of visions from worlds beyond the light of the sun. He lives in Summerville, Georgia. On this tape, he talks about his life. God. Art & Beliefs. He has been a preacher for more than 45 years. His house, yard, chapel, and garden have been 22 years in the making and are not even, in his words, half done. Walking thru his gardens of the chapel is as close as one will ever be to seeing Howard's visions. Originally, Howard Finster set out to complete 5000 works of art for God. Every piece of art he has ever done has been numbered consecutively. December of 1985 - Howard completed his goal of 5000 works for God. He is now somewhere around 5800 works and can't produce enough for his ever growing number of admirers.
