- Suite from the score composed by Richard Rodgers for the NBC Television Production.
- Robert Russell Bennett conducting the RCA Victor Symphony Orchestra
- Released in 'Sound Spectaculars for '59 in Living Stereo' series. Also available in mono.
- Stereophonic recording was made from an original triple track stereo master tape with RCA Victor's "New Orthophonic" Hi-Fi recording technique. The orchestra was recorded with condenser microphones at Manhattan Center in New York City.
- Gatefold includes six page booklet. Internal sleeve contains an "Important Notice" about playing this LP on stereo-equipped phonographs and detailed explanations on what stereophonic sound is.
- Made in U.S.A.
