The Pool is a tragic tale of two lovers engaged to be married in a hospital bed, where a two-year-long struggle with breast cancer was finally coming to an end. Though their engagement only lasted for a day here on earth, its unconditional love continues to be an inspiration. It's a reminder to all of us to love fiercely. To fight hard for the people we care for. To show our love daily and to celebrate it when we're no longer able to be with each other. For the two lovers in The Pool, their time together did come to an end. But, as she flew off into the next life, clutching her ring to her chest, she was at peace knowing there was someone who loved her. And, as he watched her slowly go, he too was able to find some peace, knowing that she loved him.released February 28, 2019
