Taos Tales by Robert Mirabal

Artists

Album Info

Release Date: 1999

Label: Silver Wave Records

Similar to Taos Tales and Taos Tales, but this pressing does not say HDCD on the rear cover, nor is the Silver Wave Records logo present on the rear cover. HDCD is only mentioned on the disc itself, and the printed side of the disc is printed all the way to center, without leaving a silver ring.

This album was recorded in the Spring of 1999 at the Taos Pueblo home of Ron (Reynaldo) Lujan, also known as "Drum Dog Studios." Stev engineered and drank Ethiopian brew; Ron made rice and vacuumed every morning before we destroyed his house; Michael snored and broke cello necks; I sampled everything and everyone; and Dawn became our everything...thank you, love. The legend who had to translate it all was my navigator, Mark.
