Rock On Crew featured two of the three original 2 Live Crew members, Fresh Kid Ice and Mr. Mixx. The group was credited with performing five newly recorded songs on the 'The 2 Live Crew, Rock On Crew, Fresh Kid Ice - Deal With This' album, split "by special arrangement with Luke Records." However, none of these five tracks were performed by the Rock On Crew, as a matter of fact, the Rock On Crew have never performed, released, or been featured on, a single song as a group.
The track "Fresh Kid Ice Is Back" was originally released as "What I Like (Vocal)" from The 2 Live Crew - What I Like in 1985.
Four of the tracks were previously released songs by the unrelated Miami Bass Records act Balli And The Fat Daddy, on their debut and only album "Balli, The Fat Daddy - The Master Plan". The fifth song, "Serious Conversation," was an unreleased song by the The Nu Born Clan, also known as the New Born Clan.
Balli And The Fat Daddy's deejay's name is DJ Tad-Ski, but mis-typed on the 'The 2 Live Crew, Rock On Crew, Fresh Kid Ice - Deal With This' album as Tab Ski.
The The Nu Born Clan was a Florida-based hip hop group. Members consisted of Double • 07, Dyce, & DJ 40 Dog. Their group name is mis-typed on the 'The 2 Live Crew, Rock On Crew, Fresh Kid Ice - Deal With This' album as 'New Born Clan'.
