Album Info

Release Date: 2013

Label: 2.13.61 Records

℗ 2013 2.13.61

Tracks 1 to 6, plus 8, 9, 11 to 14 were first issued as the album 'Come In And Burn', which was released in the U.S. by DreamWorks Records as a twelve song, one disc album on March 25th 1997.

Like the 2004 2CD set 'Come In And Burn (Sessions)', this 21 track digital reissue is an expanded edition (with a different running order) that includes b-sides, session outtakes and remixes:

Track 7 is from 'The End of Something' European CD single (DRD 22258), U.K. 7-inch single (DRMS 22271) and the Australian CD single (DRMDM-22258), which was released by DreamWorks Records on June 23rd 1997.
Track 20, 'The End of Something (Grooverider remix)' was also issued on the Australian and European 'The End of Something' CD singles, and the U.K. 'The End Of Something' CD single (white cover art: DRMXD-22271).

Tracks 10 & 16 are from the 'Starve' European CD single (DRD22208), and Australian CD single (DRMDM-22208), which was released DreamWorks Records on April 21st 1997.
Track 10, 'Threshold' was also issued in 1997 on the U.K. 'The End Of Something' CD single (black cover art: DRMCD-22271), along with the track 21, 'The End of Something (We Change Fear remix)'.
Track 16, 'Stray' was also issued on the U.K. 'The End Of Something' CD single (white cover art: DRMXD-22271).

Track 15, 'Disappearing Act' and track 7, 'Also Ran' were bonus tracks on the Japanese CD of 'Come In And Burn', which was released by MCA Victor / DreamWorks Records on January 26th 1997 (MVCA-4 / DRMD-50013).
"You will notice 'Stray' (16) and 'Disappearing Act' (15) have the same music but different vocals / lyrics. This is something I had always wanted to do. It's two different aspects of a relationship written in the same meter. I don't know if the concept holds water but it was an idea that I had been wanting to do since 1992." – – Henry Rollins

Tracks 17 to 19 were previously unreleased session outtakes prior to the 2004 / 2005 'Sessions' 2CD reissues.
