Young new multi instrumentalist, Romanos joins Blank Editions with debut E.P, Lost Weekend.
Using the alias 'Romanos' as a platform to step away from his personal reality and his usual musical endeavours as a classical pianist; lockdown provided an opportunity for Romanos’ first attempt at solo production, recorded entirely within a DIY bedroom setup across the span of three months.
Drawing upon both past and present experiences, ‘Lost Weekend’ represents the fleeting transition from adolescence to adulthood and contemplates the heightened emotions of youth through dreamy lo-fi sounds, romanticised lyricism and fragile, airy vocals. All typical features in the emerging genres of Bedroom and Dream Pop.
This project marks the debut release in a series of upcoming EP’s."
