This is part of Polydor's Flashback Series launched in 1975. This was a series of budget compilations with the familiar photo negative motif on the front. There is no mention of Flashback on the cover or the label, alas. Original copies would have had a sticker with this fact on it. The LPs also do not carry a proper release date but instead repeat the original copyright date (in this case 1971) which causes confusion. This LP was actually released in 1975. The Flashback series ran 1975-78 approx and all major artists on Polydor have at least one Flashback album.
