"There were 2 different takes of "In Dreams" issued on singles in different parts of the world. The differences occur toward the end of the song in his vocals. The US Monument 45 features a longer-held note (4 seconds) on the word "goodbye" around 2:03. Then Roy just scrapes in with the line "It's too bad. . ." (you can barely hear him say the word "It's").
The other version, issued as the single in Australia and UK on London label, features Roy singing a shorter "goodbye", then the word “It’s” is clearly audible in the line around 2:09 “It's too bad that. . ."
