"The concert was accompanied by Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra, and took place on Dec. 10, 2015.

The orchestra was directed by Marcello Rota, interpreted Sezen Aksu’s songs.

Sezen Aksu and her son also attended the dazzling concert, where Aksu songs were accompanied by old pictures making a journey from Aksu’s childhood in İzmir to her years on the stage, screened during the concert.

The orchestra of 70 musicians interpreted songs rearranged by veteran musician, arranger and composer, Erdal Kızılçay. He worked for up to one year to rearrange the songs.

Marcella Rota also invited Sezen Aksu on the stage, to perform the last song of the concert. Aksu was applauded by the audience of 2000, while she sang “Hayat Sana Teşekkür ederim” (I thank you life).

A CD and DVD were also planned to be released in Jan. 2016, by Universal."
