Rubberband繼續沿用英文字母順序命名，第九張大碟《i》代表「island」或解讀為感歎號「！」，象徵以香港出發，在逆境下每人仍然能令世界為之驚歎。至於封面的大象為設計，則是「瞎子摸象」的概念。這次專輯首次與爵士大樂隊合作，包括少少爵士味「練習說再見」、swing jazz「每道微小」、騷靈「¿醒未?」、用管樂的Rock「百毒不侵」、幾種民族元素「健兒」，嘗試流行樂與爵士樂中來一場音樂實驗。
From Apollo 18 to Hours, RubberBand's ninth album i invites listeners to experience a self-exploration journey through music. The rock band goes out of their comfort zone to explore different possibilities of themselves, inspiring with the message that a small power can still make great change. The experimental album carries a total of nine tracks, including their #1 singles "Islander," "¿Wake Up?," "Endless," First Date, "Drowning in Poison," as well as "Auauaueha" and "Maly."
