The entrance to the vestige is made of fire and brimstone...Elysium... once thought to be a sort of heaven, is in reality, a barren, grey desert, scattered with crevices and ravines. Remnants of structures jut out from the grey sand...
Under the pools of pale blue water lies old machinery... rusted bronze
pipes scrape against one another before they fall into the black abyss...
The wind picks up once in a while, and eventually, typhoons rampage the physical. But the spectral remain... wandering... waiting to tell their stories... of the Windswept Tableaux they once resided in.
The Vestige of Lost Lives is an indirect sequel to my previous album "Windswept Tableaux". While Windswept Tableaux describes the physical aspect of the fictional world, The Vestige of Lost Lives delves deep into the supernatural. I consider the Vestige a plane that isn't heaven, or hell. It's a barren, insipid desert where the only feeling is anguish and melancholy.
