‘Chasing ∞’ seeks to expose the underlying political, temporal, spatial and performative
conditions in which soundscape recording takes place.

These conditions are mediated through the presence of a field recording artist and the
use of an electric guitar, as the primary recording device used to capture the wind.
Creating a form of performance, in which this unpredictable element creates a stochastic
process, that ultimately determines the sonic process.

This forms part of a larger body of work in which this presence is explored by a visual
framework, that articulates narrative through different temporal interventions - during
one day in one place.
