Artist name on label is Riuichi Sakamoto, on the back sleeve it is Ryuichi Sakamoto. Furthermore, 'Nightporter' is listed as Track 1 and 'Forbidden Colours' as Track 2; this is a printing error as Track A1 is 'Forbidden Colours', A2 'Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence' and B1 'Nightporter'.

Side One is listed as David Sylvian/ Riuichi Sakamoto for both tracks; 'Forbidden Colours' & 'Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence'. Whilst Sylvian's vocal/ lyric contribution is correct for 'Forbidden Colours' this is not for Track A2; David Sylvian did not compose the music for 'Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence'.

This EP was released with two different sleeves, one with 'Japan, Sylvian, Sakamoto' printed on the front, the other without. This release is to capture the edition without 'Japan, Sylvian, Sakamoto' printed on the Sleeve.
