- Aðalbjörn “Addi” Tryggvason comments, the premiere track A-side: “The song ‘Silfur-Refur’ revolves around having a sick ghost version of yourself taking control of your life. You resist with all you have, but you simply don’t stand a chance. It travels with you all the time, asleep or awake.
- Aðalbjörn “Addi” Tryggvason comments, B-side: “The other track, ‘Scorpion Moonrise’ was written in only one day, on which we also recorded the demo.
- The exclusive B-side - song; ‘Scorpion Moonrise’ is graced by a guest-appearance by Hexvessel and former Beastmilk vocalist Mat “Kvohst” McNerney, who also wrote the lyrics.
** At RoadBurn Festival 2017 - Thursday 23-APRIL-2017 is the First time this "Solstafir" - Frontman Aðalbjörn “Addi” Tryggvason was present to personally introduce the album on the Thursday session, and on top of that we’ll also have a special, limited edition Sólstafir 10” single in black (ltd. to 400 copies, 45 rpm) and blue (ltd. to 300 copies, 45 rpm) for sale via the official Roadburn merchandise stall!
