Originally released in 1997 and was only available on tour or in the odd occasion through mail order. This CD was rare and highly sought after by Saga fans until the re-mastered release from 2003.On both the front sleeve and CD label it says Phase 1 - 1978. On the inner sleeve Jim Crichton writes that these demos were recorded in 1979 for the album "Images at twilight". Furthermore, it says that 6 songs of these did not end up on the mentioned album. The correct number must be 5, because "You're Not Alone", "Mouse In A Maze" and "Hot To Cold" all appeared on that album.
On the back sleeve, the songs are written on an A and B side, 4 songs on each side.
