"Here is it is, after 13 tumultuous years, Salmon Hater's unfinished masterpiece! Lead singer and mastermind Torv, the "Godfather of Fishcore" disappeared during production of this album back in 2003 and band manager Mitch Hertz swore never to release it until Torv returned to complete it. Unfortunately events have now conspired to prevent this as in August 2016, Mitch was informed by Interpol that they have abandoned the search for Torv and/or his body and that legally, he is now presumed dead. With much trepidation Mitch has now agreed to release the unfinished album in its untarnished state. "A Brief History of Salmon" finds Torv at his most confessional and his most brutal, now it seems we will never know what the entirety of his vision would have entailed, yet what he has left behind is a testament to this singular man's mad genius.Vale Torv Samunhäder."
