Artists

Album Info

Release Date: 2002

Label: 2K Sounds

Originally recorded in 1970, this album was to meant to launch Sam's post-Sam & Dave solo career and while Atlantic released a couple tracks as a 45, the album ended up forgotten in their vaults.
Later, those two tracks were released by Rhino Records on their 1993 Sam & Dave anthology "Sweat & Soul."
Tracks 1 & 2 were produced Aug 1970 at Criteria Studios; engineered by Howard & Ron Albert.
Remaining tracks produced by King Curtis; mastered by Bill Inglot at DigiPrep; engineers Tom Dowd, Gene Paul and Jimmy Douglas.
Executive album producer was Sam's wife, Joyce Moore.
Issued with an 8-page stapled-spine booklet containing extensive notes and photos.

Note: liner notes incorrectly list "Cornelius" Dupree as one of the two guitarists on tracks 3 to 10 but it was Cornell Dupree who was an Atlantic session guitarist with a long affiliation with King Curtis.
