Early 1960's US 1st release on the burgundy colored Lucumi label. Although not credited anywhere on jacket or labels, this is the group of Rafael Caraballo Y Sus Santeros Modernos with vocalist Aurea Luz Boyrie.

This release includes devotional Afro-Cuban religious prayers done by practicioners of Santeria, to a specific deity known as Santa Barbara, and is usually done when a devotee or even an entire community is asking for protection from natural catastrophes, personal, miracles, and justice.

Track B1/A La Reina Del Mar: starts as a Guajira then transforms into a Rumba.
