Bodies We Can Never Leave is a documentation of Scoff's recorded material from the year 2019. This year was the busiest time Scoff ever saw as a project. May and October saw the only three live shows Scoff ever performed, the last of said shows is included in this collection. It was during this time that Scoff became a more fully realized project which would become even more clear with its final two releases.

Bodies We Can Never Leave was compiled in August of 2023 by Kira Glass, and formatted to compact cassette by Deitritus in October of 2023.

Tracks A1 and A2 were originally released as "The Ashen Sky" on January 7, 2019
Track A3 was previously unreleased
Tracks B1 through B6 were originally released as the second side of "When We Woke, the Snow Was Gone" with Shield of Heracles on June 1, 2019. Find the other side of this split at shieldofheracles.bandcamp.com
Tracks C1 through D1 were recorded in July of 2019 and originally released as "Dreamsequence" on August 2, 2019
Track D2 was recorded live at Cafe Nervosa on October 26, 2019 and originally released as "Livesequence" on October 23, 2020
