Classic Solos Played by the King of Ragtime and Others from Rare Piano RollsThese rolls were recorded on a 1910 Steinway 65/88 note player on September 18, 1971. Tempos were chosen by Montgomery and Tichenor, and the rolls were pumped by Montgomery. Stereo recording was done by Engineer James O. Taylor, using Electrovoice microphones furnished by Walter Gover.
