"Here you have a hybrid discs. Each disc carries a different titles, each in a different format: Super Audio CD (SACD) multi-channel surround, SACD stereo and conventional CD. You need to set up a SACD multi-channel surround player and 5 speakers to reproduce "The Forest" and "The Beach". Those are recorded on location within Direct Stream Digital (DSD) system. 5 microphones captured the surround environment as it is.

The SACD stereo enables you to experience exact the same quality as my analogue master tapes for both originally in 1996 recorded for CD but now re-mastered "Bar Del Mattatoio" and "Montreux 93/94". I designed this double album to be used for stereo SACD systems where the music can be played on one player and the multi-channel surround environmental sound on the other SACD player". I recommend you play "The Forest" not too loud on a surround system (such as a home theater) and the other disc on your stereo system. With this (2+5 speakers) you can recreate the atmosphere of that special Montreux 5AM morning. When you play "The Beach" (surround) together with "Bar Del Mattatoio" (Stereo), you may feel the need for a caiperinha.
