These songs were recorded in spring or summer of1993 and were originally intended for the follow-up album to "North From Here", but the band changed styles and recorded the "Amok" album instead. Trooper Ep was a compilation of three different sessions from '92 and '93. These were recorded in the same session as "Desert By Night", but that was the only song that was actually finished. "Amok Run" didn't even have a name when it was recorded.

Contains a double-sided insert with an interview with Taneli Jarva.
