After becoming established as a singer back home in Italy, Sergio "G" came to Australia in 1962 and decided to make music his career. After some time he teamed up with Sam Manuele (Guitar), Joe La Greca (Drums), and Ralph Petrilli (Organ) and "The Flippers" were born. They have become one of Australia's most popular Continental groups, and have had six successful singles on the market. Extremely popular with Italians, both young and old, Sergio "G" and The Flippers have also gained an enthusiastic following of Australians through their hotel, restaurant, arid television appearances and on this recording the programme is designed to please.
