Note from Brian Diamond: "I was out to eat at a pizzeria in Chicago when I noticed a couple that was sitting next to me that were literally staring at their phones the whole time, not talking to each other or anything. This went on for at least 20 minutes. And I just thought more on it later and what a relationship like that would be like. So the phrase just came from that and that is mostly what it's about. A suicide romance."
