Track 1 was engineered live by Stan Tonkel at Southhampton College in Southhampton, Long Island, New York, USA on July 5th 1975. From 'Shakti With John McLaughlin', which was first released by Columbia / CBS in 1976.

Track 4, plus 7 to 9 were engineered by Dennis A. Mackay at Trident Studios in London, England, U.K. during August 1976. From 'A Handful Of Beauty', which was first released by Columbia / CBS in 1977.

Tracks 2, 3, 5 & 6 were engineered by Jean Ristori at Aquarius Studios in Geneva, Switzerland during July 1977. From 'Natural Elements', which was first released by Columbia / CBS in 1977.
