The music included in this album was recorded live during various music meditations (Doorway to Silence) that Shastro held mainly at the Mandali Retreat Center in Italy.

The mystical sound of his Bansuri flute is accompanied in almost all tracks by Nishta on Anantara (monochord and tanbura) and - on track 4 - by the amazing voice of Suyana.

Because of the settings in which it was recorded
this album carries the silence and the
introspective energy of those live meditations.
