such great Canadian and American recording artists as Carol Baker, LaWanda Lindsey Kama Lynn Jones, Tony Booth, Jerry Palmer, Buddy Allen, Dave frisell, Red Simpson, Gary Buck, sheb Wooley, dick Damron, Oroville profit, Jimmy Arthur orange, Jerry Warren and many others have appeared at the now-famous *Pump* ...

However, no matter how great an entertainer is, a very important part of his show is naturally the backup group, or house band, as they are sometimes called. The Pump has one of Canada's finest house bands. This LP will give you a good idea of the talents of all of the members of The Sheila Ann Show, with Sheila on vocals, Dave Bono on lead guitar and vocals, I'll gains on steel and vocals, Sunny cave on drums and vocals. Last but not least is bass man, Mel Matthews, who can double on banjo and lead guitar when the need arises. together they are one of the tightest house groups in this country and do more than Justice to any single act that plays the famous Pump.

This is their first complete group LP and consists of songs most requested by there many fans, night after night and month after month. it also showcases Sheila and Dave doing one original song each, which should help to launch the recording careers in Canada as solo artists in their own right.

The background voices were also made up of the group, with the kind assistance of Carol Baker, who is more than happy to help round out the harmony sound while she was appearing at the pump, and this recording session was taking place. Credit for the fine piano work goes to Bobby Buchholz.
