Shipping News "Three-Four" collects the RMSN EP Series - "Carrier", Sickening Bridge", and "Variegated", plus new material:
Tracks 1, 3 and 9 were taken from Carrier.
Tracks 2, 6 and 11 were taken from Sickening Bridge.
Tracks 4, 5, 7, 8, 10 were taken from Variegated.
Tracks 12 to 14 are previously unreleased.

Track 11 was originally called "Now That Your Diamond Lined Star Is Failing You, What Fair Silhouette Would Best Suit This Satellite".

This album is made up of solo-songs recorded individually by each member of the band. Each song was made within a limited time frame and nearly in secret, with only a few exceptions...

Recorded at Lucky Anchor and Audiovisons (Louisville, KY) & Back Porch Studios (Chicago, IL), June 2001 to September 2002.
Mastered in Ventura, CA.
