Original promo-only issue of Shorty The President's first album "Presenting Shorty The President". This LP was originally slated to be released in 1973 to coincide with Shorty's recent success with the singles "President Mash Up The Resident", "Every Goodie Needs Love", & "Jelly Belly Nelly". For unknown reasons, producer Rupie Edwards decided to shelve the release until 3 years later when he released the LP on his Cactus imprint with a slightly updated tracklisting. Missing from said album are the now dated singles "President Mash Up The Resident" & "Every Goodie Needs Love"; instead Edwards decided to replace only one of them with Shorty's most recent hit of the time, "Fat Fat Benas".
