"Simon Joyner & the Echoes are going on a short tour at the end of March. All the sales from this new release will help fund the tour and pay the band for leaving their real jobs for a week and a half to go on the road. One Carried a Lantern was made using Simon's home recordings and then the band overdubbed tracks to create new, full band reinterpretations of songs from across Simon's catalog including a cover of Loudon Wainwright III's "Hospital Lady." The digital version of the album will be available immediately, the CDs will begin to ship in mid-March once they are handmade and prepared."Download from Simon Joyner's Bandcamp site.
