Although the liner notes mention the release date of the 45 "Me And My Destiny / Wasted Days And Wasted Nights" as 1970, it is more accepted that it must be 1971. The album was released in June 1971 and according to the liner notes, Doug started the recordings of "Return Of Saldana" in January 1971 (see page 31).
