Release Date: 1987

Label: Summit Record

"Visions: Mission Andromeda" is a new project from West Coast composers and producers Skip Prest, Rocket Norton, and John Hall. Centring around the concept of civilization's self-destruction and redemption "Visions" features a unique sound that successfully combines contemporary rock music with the sound of a symphony orchestra. Originally presented live with accompanying computer-generated visuals, "Visions", the soundtrack LP, features a host of local talent including Nancy Nash, David Steele, and Sibil Thrasher, and 43 members of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. (From a promo insert. The other label release mentioned on the insert - Spotlight '87 - would date this LP to 1987.) Sponsored by The Sony Store. There is a lyric insert/Sony Store $10 gift certificate included.
