In 1981, Smokey Wilson filed a suit against Big Town Records, Cadet Records, Modern Records, and Jules Bihari. His complaint charged that he was not paid his rightful record and publishing royalties. He claimed that some of his songs were issued with composer credits to "P. Tim".
In 1998, reissued on Smokey Wilson - Sings The Blues as a bonus track.
In 2006, reissued on Smokey Wilson - Round Like An Apple: The Big Town Recordings 1977-1978, as 'You Shattered My Dreams'.
In 2011, reissued on Various - Shattered Dreams: Funky Blues 1967-78, also as 'You Shattered My Dreams'.
