Disc 1 was recorded live at L'Olympia in Paris, May 2nd, 1972. From Disc 2 track 1-4 were from the same show, and featured the line up of Hugh Hopper, Mike Ratledge, John Marshall and Elton Dean.

The remainder of the tracks from Disc 2 were recorded in London, May 1970 ,and the line-up was Robert Wyatt, Mike Ratledge, Hugh Hopper, Elton Dean and Mark Charig.

Disc 3 was recorded live at the Fairfield Halls, Croydon, England, January 4th, 1970. A full set by the line up of Robert Wyatt, Hugh Hopper, Mike Ratledge, Elton Dean and Lyn Dobson.

Disc 4 was recorded live during the German Tour in the Autumn of 1971, and featured Hugh Hopper, Elton Dean, Phil Howard and Mike Ratledge.
