After signing for A New Day Records in 2000. The original "Spank" album was considered to short for general release. The band therefore returned to the studio to record three additional tracks. The album was repackaged once again entitled "Spank".

The updated version was offically released in August 2000 to coincide with the band's appearance at the Cropredy Festival. The finished album was nominated by "Blues Matters" magazine as one of the best albums of the year
