The Sands Of Badr:
Instrumental intro for Project Babylon, spontaneously written during one day in the middle of the recording sessions for this E.P. The Battle of Badr, fought in the 7th century, was one of the key battles in the early days of Islam...
Project Babylon:
A song about Saddam Hussein's plan to build a super gun able to shoot at American satellites in orbit. Project Babylon was finally stopped by the assassination of it's leading engineer Gerald Bull in 1990. The song itself was written pretty fast during one or two rehearsals in 2015 and is since then an inherant part of our live set-list.
(Solo by Basti).
Alcoholic Force:
Here it is! The first song this band wrote back in 2006 (and probably the worst lyrics we ever wrote and ever shall write). It seems that most Thrash bands need a poser hunting epic...sadly (or fortunately?!) we are no exception! 10 years ago the first version of this song was unbelievable 8 minutes long! Then over the years we chopped it to one of our shortest songs!
(Solo by Tim).
Lights Over Phoenix:
The first song we wrote after our debut full length album "The Future Is Now" was released in April 2015. The lyrics are about the alleged UFO sightings in Phoenix, Arizona in 1997, when thousands of people reported to have seen lights over the Phoenix metropolitan area (a.k.a. the "Valley of the Sun").
(Solos by Tim).
Staub Und Kohle:
Instrumental after a riff-idea from our drummer Daniel, who recorded a demo of this song some years ago!
Dead City:
A German Thrash Metal classic from the Violent Force album "Malevolent Assault Of Tomorrow" from 1987, which we play live since 2003 (although our "Dead City" is Munich and not Velbert!). As this song is obviously influenced by Motörhead we dedicate this to the memory of the very same band!
R.I.P. Lemmy, Würzel & Phizhy!

Born To Speed:
It was about time to have a "Speedwhore"-theme song, right!? We thought so too and therefore wrote this song shortly before the recordings for this E.P. started. Lyrically it's inspired by William Gibson's science-fiction classic "Neuromancer" from 1984 by which we gave the novels hero "Case" a new byname...Speedwhore, what else!?

Mixed and mastered at Temple of Disharmony in June 2016.
Bandphotos shot during a gig in December 2015.
