Keysound Recordings are proud to announce the release of a 4 track EP by perhaps the most creative act in the uk bass-heavy “130” movement, Spektralsound.

The release is abstract realism desperately chasing the feeling of the first hit.

The duo formed underage raving, DJing d&b/UKG at house parties and outdoor raves. Cliff-side castle basements, grotty bars and dilapidated early millennium nightclubs acted as hidden portals to other dimensions.

Now in 2020, the spektralsound consists of trace elements of underground genres spanning from jungle to UK funky, encased in a fortified wall of bass & submerged sounds from a drowned realm.
Of the EP’s four tracks the duo describe “Happy Heart” as “an end-of-summer cardiology shanty”. “Paradise (Ascent)” as “the hedonistic underbelly of package holiday islands.”

“Silent Declaration” seems to be trying fruitlessly to retrieve loved ones’ lost. Finally the title track repeats the phrase “it’s my safe haven, it’s my happy place,” in an altogether... unconvincing tone.
