SqrtSigil is the moniker of Maciek Jaciuk, one of the founders of the Kołobrzeg based label Plaża Zachodnia, co-creator of 30 kilo słońca, Ak Uki and mothertape formations.

SqrtSigil's discography so far includes two EPs released by Lethal Dose Recordings in 2014, a full-length album "PostDog", which was released a year later under the Canadian label D.M.T. Records and two tapes: "Licho" from the catalogue of Plaża Zachodnia (2017) and "Lost In" signed with the sign of Szara Reneta (2018).

SqrtSigil offers a take on ambient that is both organic, surreal and hypnotic yet harmonic and soothing. Fragments of processed field recordings play a very important role. Everything is submerged in a blur of dub bass pulsations where unidentified micro sounds, textures, murmurs and rustles can be heard in coexistence of emerging bit fragments.
